Stay in England: a unique experience for Institució students

A group of 16 students from different Institució schools had the opportunity to enjoy a unique educational and cultural experience in England. For 12 days, they stayed at the boarding school of Moor Park, a private school, which allowed them to experience first-hand the daily life and work of English students in their natural environment.

What did they do during their stay?

During their stay, the students adapted to local customs and practised English in everyday situations, which was essential for strengthening their language skills.
The experiences they had were enriching not only from a cultural point of view but also from a linguistic one, showing the importance of learning languages as a tool for communication and global understanding.

The group also made the most of their time in England by taking part in several excursions, including a visit to a picturesque village set in the 18th century and a tour of a medieval castle dating back to the 11th century. These outings allowed the students to immerse themselves even further in the country’s history and culture, reinforcing the value of educational trips as a way to broaden young people’s horizons.

The stay has undoubtedly been an experience that will mark a before and after in the academic and personal development of these students, who have learned not only about others but also about themselves, highlighting the importance of learning other languages and cultures.
